Trish Robson - Artist Statement Time spent in the Australian desert and working with Indigenous communities is the basis of the work you see here.My art practice examines the human impact and debris left in the landscape.Found objects or remnants of a society come with their own signature and meaning imbued within them. When you change the context and realign them into a relationship to each other 'they' start to create their own narrative.I seem to be always adjusting the connection between objects.Often the bypassed, overlooked and the worthless become exalted and precious and exist as a work of art........
